Jordan Walsh


Jordan Walsh, a professional basketball player for the Boston Celtics in the National Basketball Association (NBA), was born on March 3, 2004. Prior to his NBA career, he played college basketball for the Arkansas Razorbacks.

During the announcement of his commitment to the University of Arkansas, Jordan Walsh held the distinction of being the highest-ranked available player in the 2022 class. Hailing from Texas and standing at 6 feet 7 inches tall, he attended Link Year Prep in Branson, Missouri. Ultimately, he chose the Razorbacks over other prominent schools such as Texas, Memphis, Arizona State, and Kansas.

Following his impressive college basketball career, Walsh was chosen by the Sacramento Kings as the 38th overall pick in the second round of the 2023 NBA draft. However, he was subsequently traded to the Boston Celtics.

In the ESPN 100 rankings for the 2022 class, Jordan Walsh secured the seventh spot overall and stood as the second-best player in his position. With a remarkable 41-inch vertical and a 7-foot-3 wingspan, he exhibited exceptional athletic abilities. Playing for the Drive Nation program in the Nike EYBL circuit, Walsh maintained impressive statistics, averaging 12.3 points and 3.3 assists while shooting above 50% from inside the arc.

 When questioned about his decision to join the Razorbacks, Walsh emphasized the impact of the coaching staff, particularly Coach Musselman. He praised their NBA experience and highlighted the passionate fanbase, noting that Arkansas basketball was the sole focus of the town. Furthermore, he expressed his ambition to compete for a national championship during his time with the program.

Outside of basketball, Jordan Walsh faces the challenge of alopecia universalis, an autoimmune condition that inhibits hair growth on the body.
